You would think by now that I would know better. But if there is one thing I have learned in my 48 years here on this whirling planet, the universe loves irony. And so here today I must admit to my own folly and tell you that I have changed my mind.
A few months back I stood strongly in opposition to the idea of FREE Shipping. Mainly because of increasing shipping costs and the disinclination to promote the falsehood that shipping is actually FREE. But as EBay often does they have chosen to strong arm sellers into offering FREE Shipping by suggesting that it boosts your items in best match, by automatically giving a 5 star rating for shipping and handling and by the way that they reward top rated sellers. With all this pressure I have scummed and decided to give it a try and while I would have to say that the experiment is still in it's infancy it does show some promise.
So I will continue with the "Free Shipping" and see where it goes. Just a suggestion if you are feeling the same opposition as I was. I don't recommend being as stubborn as I am.
