It has been a while since I have done anything crafty so this project felt quite therapeutic.
I needed a gift box for my nieces birthday present.
I had found a hat box at a local thrift store which I thought was in need of a face lift.
I also saw an old book of "The Worlds Best Fairy Tales" (many of them I have never heard of)
This book had a lot of fun and colorful sketches in it and so an idea was born.
I tore up the hat box.
And I tore up the book.
And I began my restoration.
With a little patience and a lot of glue, here is the completed project.
I am anxious to start another project but today other things need my attention. Still, I look forward to my next project. I have the idea. I just need the time to play with it.
