My sister and I are (somewhat frantically) trying to get ready for a Christmas craft show. It will be my first ever so I am feeling a little nervous. Thankfully my sister has a few of these shows under her belt so I am hopeful that that she can show me the ropes.
We are planning to show only up-cycled items which is doubly scary. Imagine the nerve to charge money for trash!! But for me the scariest part is having my work "judged," for lack of a better word, by strangers. Yikes!! I feel the experience could be completely humiliating!
But I will forge ahead and face this fear with the following quote in my heart.
"Create for yourself first. Make yourself smile. Don't worry about the scrutiny of others."
Lisa Kettell author of The Altered Circus.
One if the things we will have for sale is cards and envelopes made from magazine pages, bottle caps and gum wrappers.
